what to expect
At Camp Canine, boarding is designed to feel as close to home as possible. Our overnight guests spend their days in daycare play, enjoy morning and evening walks, and stay in a calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention, rest, and comfort built into their routine.
We get to know each dog individually so we can tailor their stay to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable whether that means free roaming, a cozy private pen, crate sleeping, extra cuddle time, or slower introductions to the group. With round-the-clock supervision, regular updates from our team, and the ability to check in on daycare cameras while you’re away, our goal is simple: a safe, comfortable place your dog is genuinely excited to come back to.
While all boarding takes place at our Forest Hill location, Camp Canine Avenue clients can board with us seamlessly. No additional Meet & Greet required. Our staff work between both locations, so your dog will already know familiar faces, routines, and staff. We also offer complimentary transport from Avenue Road to Forest Hill for boarding stays, so you can still drop off close to home.

Tell us about your dog and we’ll confirm they meet our requirements: up-to-date Bordetella, DHPP, and Rabies vaccinations, and spay/neuter after 7 months.
The Meet & Greet
Every dog completes a Meet & Greet before boarding with us.
This is a quick, thoughtful evaluation to make sure your dog is comfortable in our open play environment.
Drop-off is fast and low-key (like a real daycare) to avoid separation anxiety. We’ll keep you updated, and you can even watch from home.
We assess: comfort with handling. social skills with other dog, play style and temperament.
Once ready, your dog joins the group and stays a minimum of 2 hours to settle.

Weekdays: 8:30–11:00am
Weekends: 10:30–11:30am
TWO CAMP VISITS
After your pup's meet and greet and before boarding, your dog completes two half days of daycare play (5 hours or less). This helps them get comfortable with our space, staff, and routine before staying overnight with us. By the time they stay, we want them running through the door excited to see us!
TIME FOR YOUR PUP'S STAY
All you need to bring is your dog’s food and any medications they may need. We’ll take care of the rest including beds, blankets, treats, toys, cuddles, and plenty of playtime. Our boarding dogs spend their days in daycare play, enjoy morning and evening walks, and stay in a home-style environment with round-the-clock supervision from our team. We offer a variety of sleeping arrangements based on what your dog is most comfortable with, including free roaming, private pens that act like their own little bedrooms, or crates for dogs who are crate trained. You’ll also get regular updates and can watch your dog play in daycare from wherever you are.

Once your dog has completed their stay, they’re officially part of the Camp Canine boarding crew. Future boarding reservations can be booked anytime through Gingr or with our team whenever you need us!
